As the finale to the Westfield Washington Public Library Summer Reading Program, join us for a free concert on Thursday, August 11, at 6:30 p.m., featuring the Rambling Sailors.
This duo is dedicated to performing traditional and modern sea shanties and ballads of the sea, delivered with their original passion and better instruments. Their music is characterized by powerful vocals, strong harmonies, and a mood range from the sweet to the epic.
Rambling Sailors is a new effort by performers Gregg and Susan Csikos, and their music is characterized by powerful vocals, strong harmonies, and a mood range from the sweet to the epic.
Gregg and Susan performed for over a decade individually prior to forming the Rambling Sailors. With a combined experience of 23 years on the circuit, Gregg (Lead Vocal, Guitar, English Concertina) and Susan (Vocals, Guitar / Mandolin, Bodhran Drum) have combined their lives and their talents.
